CookiePal lets you choose the languages your banner appears in for your website visitors. This guide walks you through configuring available languages, setting a default language, and customising the content for each language.
Set the Default Language
1. In the "Banner" tab of the Settings page, open the "Default Language" dropdown.
2. Choose the language visitors should see when their browser language isn't one of your available languages. If it isn't already in "Available Languages", it is added automatically.

Configure Available Languages
1. Open the "Settings" page from the sidebar menu and stay on the "Banner" tab.
2. Find the "Available Languages" setting. Click the field and type to search the list of languages.
3. Select every language you want your banner to support. To remove one, click it again in the list.
Each visitor sees the banner in their browser's language when it is one of your available languages. Your default language is always included and can't be removed from the list.

Customise Content for Each Language
1. Open the "Customisation" page from the sidebar menu and switch to the "Customise Content" tab.
2. Use the "Select Language" dropdown to choose the language you want to edit. It lists your available languages.
3. Edit the texts in the "Cookie Notice", "Cookie Preference", "Opt-out (US)" and "Other content" tabs, then save. Each language keeps its own texts, including the opt-out notice, "Do not sell" link and opt-out dialog shown to US visitors. The "Opt-out (US)" tab only appears when your banner covers US visitors, and "Other content" only when iframe blocking is on.
